I am a current sales employee at Haynes. I am African-American and uniquely qualified to state this company, the owners and management, are systemic racists. They are good old boys with a few token females sprinkled through management (paid less than male counterparts, of course), but no Blacks (ever to my understanding) have ever held a significant management or executive position. It is abundantly clear that Blacks within the company are regarded as fodder for human resource statistics and not regarded as either equal or valid in the company. At times, I feel Im there so Black customers can see me and perceive the company as fair and equitable. Not true.

I have furniture that I paid $3,200 for this cricket look like is used been calling Hanes customer service since the 14th of December back on the phone with them again today had to wait 30 minutes for a customer service agent this is my last purchase from Haines they're not good on their promise at all so I'm waiting today to see my results of another 30 or 40 days before they get back with me I think it's a game they play will I recommend my friends no no one should have to go through this after spending that kind of money again today getting off the phone with customer service they say they're going to send a tech out to take a look at the furniture or services why should you have to service some new furniture at $3,200 dollars those are the games Haynes play don't make sense at all

We purchased a dining room table back in November and wanted it before Thanksgiving the only option was to pay for delivery to get it in time so we did. They did deliver in time but it was the wrong table we called immediately and explained what had happened there response was oh well we only deliver to your area twice a month but at least you will have it before Christmas. Later the same day the called my husband and informed him that the table was no longer in stock and would not be until January they would contact us as soon as it was in. We waited patiently finally mid way thru January we still had not heard from them gave them a call and well it had been back in stock for a few weeks they just didn't bother to call. They could not deliver until February 12th so we still do not have the table. We contacted corporate thru email to let them know we were not very happy and the situation instead of contacting us the forwarded the email to the store where we already had issues with. A lady from the store called my husband and straight lied to my him about speaking to me a week or two prior about the table being in and delivery. They were rude and offered no rush to get it to us sooner.

Didn't receive all the furniture!!!

The commercial on TV, about Haynes furniture must have been back in the day!!! I purchased some furniture and paid in full on 2/26/20 , I received all the furniture except for the ottoman...on top of it all a piece of furniture was rip on delivery!! Bad business, no one has contacted me or even try reach out to me before coronavirus...I paid forthe protection plan...for what!!! It's a rip off . I feel Haynes takes your MONEY, and then your just left on your own to fight for what you already paid for!!!

I am a new customer just relocated to Virginia purchased a coffee table looks as it was a refurbished model , and was told they do not do refunds or returns these people need to be on channel 10 news by your side look at this table and they want give my money back ,I just noticed there are 206 bad complaints on this company its time to close them down they are selling junk

Thank you again to all associates for your patience as we continue on this journey into uncharted territory with the issues presented to employers as a result of the Covid-19 health crisis. Early in the process, we had to make the tough decision to place the majority of our associates on a leave of absence rather than separate from service. This was to avoid incurring a break in service and losing seniority while still allowing associates to file for unemployment benefits.

My wife worked at Haynes Furniture for more than 22 years. There was constant back biting, rampant reverse discrimination, (arrogant , conceited, and anti family management attitudes toward the employees).

Intimidation from management. , overpaid vice presidents. She also knew that too many long term representatives stick their nose in everybody's business. People were forced to work on your day of worship.

One problem: managers who don't understand family a family crisis/emergency.

Managers should start treating employees like human beings instead of numbers in a system. Please stop religious discrimination.One time a manager made unkind remarks about an employees religion then that employee was terminated from the company.

Dissatisfaction with poor quality Furniture!

In January we purchased a leather sofa with two built-in recliners and a matching leather recliner. They are stiff, hard, uncomfortable. We have to put pillows under our elbows, behind and back in order to stand the pain from the miserably hard chairs. When I called to complain, the woman was rude and unhelpful. She informed me the "Comfort is not the issue." I told her for $3000.00 just what was the issue? One SHOULD expect comfort. She informed me that the Furniture was intact when we received it! Basically, they have substandard furniture and do not stand behind their product. A 3k loss was not in my plan. This a hard loss!

I bought a very expensive supposedly leather couch on 7/4/19. Less than a month later it started to fade. I found out that the material was painted rather than dyed leather. My issue is that no one has contacted me regarding this situation since a tech was sent out to attempt to fix the problem. I bought this at the Dump in Irving Texas. What I want done is to have the couch returned and give me credit so I can buy a couch that is not going to fade within less than a month. I am very disappointed in this couch in that I was not informed it was painted leather rather than dyed. I would like a response as to who can take care of my situation. Thanks

Yes also the person that they sent out was very condescending and rude also. Stayed all of 4 minutes.

I bought a leather sofa from Haynes in Virginia Beach. I haven't had the sofa for 8 months the cushions are going flat the USB ports are not working and your store has taken almost two months to order a part that should have been ordered over two months ago. Your customer service and service people are rude and not helpful. I feel discriminated against because evidently their couches have a specific weight limit. My grandchildren set primarily on the couch but the gentleman came looked at me and said that it was normal wear and tear. I am not 250 lb or 300 or 400 lb and if their Fruniture has a weight limit it should be listed on the merchandise before you buy it. No one has been helpful they have been rude and unhelpful.

Paid for a piece of furniture They then told me that was not in stock and it would take a week to get the piece came in I picked it up Brought it home to assemble parts were broken was in told that they had to re-order it I returned the pieces went today to re-pick it up they only ordered the non-broken parts was told again it will be a week for replacement this place is terrible do not give them your money
